In Germany Happy Christmas = Frohe Weihnachten – Our Inflight Manager Shalana has a German grandmother and each year they bake yummy Vanilla Kipferl. Learn how to make them here :
INGREDIENTS:
210g Butter
210g Plain Flour
110g Ground Hazelnut
110g Sugar
DIRECTIONS:
Mix all together in to a dough
Cling film dough and place in fridge for 30 minutes
Make a thin roll and form into a Kipferl shape (see picture attached)
Place the Kipferl back into the fridge for about 10-12 minutes
Then bake on 150-160c for 10-12 minutes
Allow to cool, then turn the kipferl around in vanilla sugar
