Who likes Brussels sprouts? Apparently it is all down to genetics whether we like them or not!
However, Shalana our Inflight Manager has a nice recipe for Brussel sprouts and swears that anybody will like them when cooked this way!
1 Pound Brussel Sprouts
1 Large Red Onion
Cut bottoms off brussel sprouts, peel and put a cross on the bottom
Par boil the sprouts
Drain and cool with ice
In a pan, melt the butter and fry the pancetta
When pancetta is cooked, add the red onions
Cut 225g of the chestnuts in half and add to the pan
Leave the other 225g of chestnuts whole and add to the pan
Cut 500g of the brussel sprouts and add to the pan
Leave the other 500g of the brussel sprouts whole and add to the pan
Mix everything together until warm
